Christmas Day 2012

I'm FINALLY getting around to our Christmas Day post. We have been very busy around here this week with a big garage reorganization project!

So back to Christmas: Christmas morning Aston was up before the sun. He must have sensed our anticipation because we were up early too. Anyways, he came out from his room with Big Han, his current favorite stuffed animal. He didn't want to leave him behind!
The stockings where hung and very full of goodies.
Aston got a new book, lots of Pez, and Crayons from Santa.

But then he was done and onto reading... so typical Aston these days!
We all got some pretty awesome things in our stockings. I was a happy girl after just opening them.
After stockings, we got ready to head up to Maxwell's parents for Christmas breakfast and presents up there.
These are our attempts at getting a family pictures. Pretty good I guess.

Aston was one very spoiled little boy this year, from every set of grandparents!
He is very into airplanes, so Grandma Betty and Grandpa Bob got him an airplane and airplane book.
He then discovered a sucker! He was in heaven!
Uncle Wes got him a new hat just like his.

Aston doesn't like the hair in his face but he's pretty cute with it on.
 He got more books...
 And a soft jacket.
And his "big" gift from the Jardin's was...
a water and sand table. I can't wait for it to warm up a bit so we can play!
Aston's favorite part? Sitting on the box!
By the time all was said and done, we had a very sleepy hippo on our hands. We came home, put Aston to bed and had our little Christmas with my mom. Max spoiled me with an awesome Silhouette cutting machine. It is so much fun!

After Aston woke up, he opened his gifts from us and my mom. The first gift he saw when he woke up was his "big" gift from grandma Lucia.... A car!

 He loves it!

As he played, we made dinner. We made Pioneer Woman's Prime Rib recipe. It was delicious!
Then more gifts and finally Aston was out of his pj's by 3 pm in the afternoon...hey it's Christmas!
The table with my Christmas dishes.
 And our dinner.
It was a wonderfully busy day but next year we will probably slow things down a bit!
