Christmas Eve

Maxwell had to work Christmas Eve morning as he had to get the church ready for the Christmas Eve services. I surprised him with Christmas Tree cinnamon rolls for breakfast. For some reason they didn't rise well, so they were a bit dense.
My mom and I got the house ready for Christmas dinner so that we didn't have to do much on Christmas day.

Then, when Max got home and Aston woke up from his nap, we were off to my mom's family Christmas eve traditions. The tradition is to have cheese tortellini soup and sausage rolls. Then the craziness begins and we all cram into the living room and wait for Santa to come.
Aston got a piano from my grandparents.
A teddy bear from my Uncle Steve.
He wanted both his and Sedona's.
Here is a little flash back to last year.
Playing with Lance.
He enjoyed playing with Lances cars.
Sedona got a new doll and crib.
They both wanted to climb in.
 Looking for Santa.
There he is!
 Whose that?
Both weren't so sure about him.

Sedona sat on Santa's lap for a moment then was done.
This is how Aston felt about Santa. He is so expressive.
He would not sit with Santa. Death grip on Mom!
You're scary Santa!
 Lance and Santa
Then it was the big boys turn.

Then Santa left. Where did he go?
 Micah and Grandma Ann
My mom and Aston.
 The cousin's playing.
It wasn't as crazy as years past and went pretty quickly. We left early because Aston was done and needed to go to bed. Again, we are VERY spoiled! I will post Christmas #3 tomorrow.
