What have we been up to?

We've had a busy first two weeks of Decemeber. We've all been sick off and on and also had lots of things going on. These pictures aren't in order but it's what we've been up to.

We celebrated my dad's birthday. Somehow Aston got some presents too. Spoiled little boy!

We have never done an Advent wreath but Max did growing up and we thought it would be a good tradition for us to start. We are really proud of how it turned out.

Aston was helping me clean up the other day and found my head band. Isn't he pretty? Haha Max didn't think so ;-)

Aston had a pretty bad case of Croup two weekend ago. He was only really sick for 4 days and he spent a lot of time in the tub.

Last Friday, Max and I made ScotchMallows. They turned out great! You can see more pictures and the recipe here.

We took a break from making candy to go to the park and get some Dairy Queen. As soon as Aston saw the cup of ice cream coming toward him, he sat down on the floor (the regular snack position).

Last week, Aston and Maxwell put up the Christmas lights on the house...in 80 degree weather. Hence the whiteness.

He's a little climber...such a boy!

I have started to watch Micah, my cousin Krissy's son. Aston isn't quiet so sure about all of it but he does pretty well.

This is Aston's version of a hug :)

He spends a lot of the day reading...and kicking his foot :)

I hosted my Bible Study Christmas Party this week. This was my place setting for the party. I didn't come up with the idea but saw something similar on Pinterest :)

When Aston was sick we made play dough. He has been enjoying playing with it.

Max is sad because there is no Hockey season this year.

Aston enjoys decorating our felt countdown calendar my mom bought us at Disney World. It's very cute!

Last Sunday, we had a very busy, sugary day. After church got out and Max got off work, we went over to our friends house for a Gingerbread House party. It was a lot of fun! Aston enjoyed eating the candy and playing with all the kids and toys!

He was trying to steal the candy off the house :)

That night, we went up to the Jardin's house for cookie decorating.

This morning, Aston had his first experience with headphones. At first nothing was coming out then Max turn on some Hall & Oats. He thought it was pretty cool :) I love his new cheesy smile!
