Aston Goes Ice Skating!

About 2 years ago, Maxwell got REALLY into Hockey and he and his brother Sam got all the gear and started taking skating and hockey lessons. He has been dying to get Aston out on the ice and this past weekend he did! 

Aston LOVED it and it was so much fun watching them skate. It was also very nice to be a bit cold since we have been living in 100 degree weather!

Maxwell's Chuck E Cheese Birthday

We celebrated the Zoo Keepers birthday last Monday with family and friends. For about 2 years now, Max has been threatening to take me to Chuck E Cheese on a date. Although it would be fun to play the games, I was not in the mood to deal with a place full of crazy kids when I was teaching.

Anyways, in August, Betty, Maxwell's mom came up with the idea of throwing Max a surprise party at Chuck E Cheese since he was bringing it up so often. So on Monday it all came to be. Although Max was a pain and guessed what we were doing, I did lie and say no but you know :) So here are the pictures from the day. Aston and Max had a blast and it was a fun time of celebrating with family and friends! Thanks to everyone who came!

I made Max wear a blindfold since I knew he already knew and would guess.

 Betty made all the kids goodie bags. She did a great job and went all out for it!
