Disney World Day 1

I'm getting caught up on posting pictures from our trip. 

Our first day was a travel day. Aston did great and actually slept on the plane! We love Southwest and although the flight was long, it was as best as possible. After some confusion in the airport, we made our way to our hotel. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort on the Walt Disney World resort. It was very nice. 

We made it to Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. In hindsight, we probably shouldn't have planned to do this they day we got there but we did. We were all very tired but we found dinner and found the perfect spot to watch the Christmas Parade. 

The castle was beautiful all lit up. Magic Kingdom Park (and the rest of Disney World) was not as decorated as Disneyland was. Kinda disappointing but thats okay.

Aston was so happy to have some freedom to roam and roam her did. In the dark. He was having fun saying hi to everyone.

Aston liked the parade. There was so much to look at.

It was amazing. Each float had a scent that they piped out. It was so Disney!

After the the parade, we made our way through Adventure land, the quietest part of the the whole place! We found a perfect spot to watch the fireworks, which was right in front of the hot cocoa and cookie area.

Aston fell asleep on the way out after the parade, so we stayed to watch the fireworks. Aston wasn't so sure about them but did great. He didn't mind the sound but he didn't like how bright it was.
