Isn't he cute?

I realized last week that I haven't been taking as many pictures of Aston with our good camera since I have my phone with me all the time. So the other day, when we were putting away Aston's freshly washed 24/2t clothes, I came across these cute overalls and put them on him. He was so stickin' cute that I had to get my camera and snap some pictures of my not a baby anymore boy.

He has grown so much and is so big now. He is getting more and more independent and is definately not a baby anymore! His face has changed and he is just getting so big! He is a very busy boy all the time and LOVES Winnie the Pooh right now! His favorite food is whatever sugar cereal daddy is eating. He is 30 pounds and just a big hunk of a kid.

This is a blurry picture because he doesn't stop moving!
I just love his smile! He is so much fun!

Friday Update

Last Saturday, after a year with "longer" hair, I cut it off. Here are the before and after pictures. I love the new hair! Aston and Max like it too!

Sweet after bath time with my boy! I just love him so much! He's getting so big!
We finally have an after bath picture with Max in it too! Then the boys had fun making faces!
Sunday night was a sad football night in our house but we had comfort food....Football shaped meatloaf.
This was Aston watching the Patriot game. Little did we know that face would end up so fitting.
This week was warm in San Diego, so get pulled the water and sand table Aston got from the Jardin grandparents. He LOVED it and got wall wet and dirty!
Yesterday, we went up on the hill to do some exploring before the rain started. This is his favorite place to be!

Now we are onto a crazy busy next 10 days! Max is going to a hockey game with my dad and brother today, we have a birthday party on Sunday for Betty and Maxwell's great uncle Marvin, Max has a busy week at work, I have a craft night next Friday and Maxwell turns 28 next weekend! Busy but fun week ahead! Hope you all are well!

Happy Friday

Here is what the Jardin Zoo has been up to this week!

Aston is OBSESSED with Winnie the Pooh. Thankfully my aunt had it to borrow since it's not available right now.
I just love this cute little robe from my aunt Barb! It's so stinking cute!
I finally got to work on this fun, easy project this week. You can see it here.
After bath faces! One of my favorite times of the day! I love being silly with my little Hippo.
It was a big football weekend in our house. Go Patriots! And Hockey starts tomorrow so we have a very, very happy daddy in the house.
I love how the Message states Philippians 4: 6-7. So encouraging I think.

Spent a little time in my craft area this week and made this little painting. I forget how relaxing painting is for me.
My new craft area is coming together. A full post to come soon.
I took a Grow your Blog with Pinterest from Influence Network. They offer online classes for $10 a class and I thought it was ver beneficial! They have all types of class.
My package Amazon and got these cute straws.
Kikkerland Biodegradable Paper Straws, Birch, Box of 144
I'm hosting a craft night in February and was organizing supplies for the event this week. I can't wait! Whose coming?
It's a bad picture but Aston fell asleep sitting up the other day. It was so pathetic! But he really didn't cry himself to sleep, just fell asleep like this.
Aston is such a little reader! He just loves it!
I occasionally dabble in a little graphic design type stuff and made this invitation for my Mother in Laws birthday party she is sharing with her uncle. It should be fun!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a great weekend!

Jungle Bells

For Christmas, my mom got us Zoo passes. Our's expired in June and we've missed going. Aston is now OBSESSED with animals, so we were so excited to go! Every year we have been married, we have gone to Jungle Bells but this year we didn't have passes during our 12 days of Christmas festivities, so we didn't go. BUT after Christmas was over, we realized that it was still going on, so we went. Aston had a blast but it got dark fast. We'll have to go back soon during the day so he can see the animals in the light!

Here are the pictures of our night!
 Isn't that little hat cute!
Seeing the giraffe's for the first time!

The Jaguar's were all right by the wind. It was cool to see! Aston wanted to touch them so badly!
Picture with the Elephant statue's. He was kinda affraid of how big these guys were!

We had a great night even thought it was very chilly!

Christmas Day 2012

I'm FINALLY getting around to our Christmas Day post. We have been very busy around here this week with a big garage reorganization project!

So back to Christmas: Christmas morning Aston was up before the sun. He must have sensed our anticipation because we were up early too. Anyways, he came out from his room with Big Han, his current favorite stuffed animal. He didn't want to leave him behind!
The stockings where hung and very full of goodies.
Aston got a new book, lots of Pez, and Crayons from Santa.

But then he was done and onto reading... so typical Aston these days!
We all got some pretty awesome things in our stockings. I was a happy girl after just opening them.
After stockings, we got ready to head up to Maxwell's parents for Christmas breakfast and presents up there.
These are our attempts at getting a family pictures. Pretty good I guess.

Aston was one very spoiled little boy this year, from every set of grandparents!
He is very into airplanes, so Grandma Betty and Grandpa Bob got him an airplane and airplane book.
He then discovered a sucker! He was in heaven!
Uncle Wes got him a new hat just like his.

Aston doesn't like the hair in his face but he's pretty cute with it on.
 He got more books...
 And a soft jacket.
And his "big" gift from the Jardin's was...
a water and sand table. I can't wait for it to warm up a bit so we can play!
Aston's favorite part? Sitting on the box!
By the time all was said and done, we had a very sleepy hippo on our hands. We came home, put Aston to bed and had our little Christmas with my mom. Max spoiled me with an awesome Silhouette cutting machine. It is so much fun!

After Aston woke up, he opened his gifts from us and my mom. The first gift he saw when he woke up was his "big" gift from grandma Lucia.... A car!

 He loves it!

As he played, we made dinner. We made Pioneer Woman's Prime Rib recipe. It was delicious!
Then more gifts and finally Aston was out of his pj's by 3 pm in the afternoon...hey it's Christmas!
The table with my Christmas dishes.
 And our dinner.
It was a wonderfully busy day but next year we will probably slow things down a bit!
